Free Reading Shade Me from Jennifer Brown

The first book in bestselling author Jennifer Brown’s thrilling suspense series for fans of Sara Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars, Shade Me is about a unique girl who becomes entangled in a mysterious crime and lured into a sexy but dangerous relationship with a boy who may be a suspect.
Nikki Kill has always been an outsider. Born with rare synesthesia, she sees the world differently. In Nikki’s eyes, happiness is pink, sadness is a mixture of brown and green, and lies are gray.
To Nikki, Peyton Hollis, the ultrarich it-girl at school, was seemingly untouchable. That is, until Peyton is violently attacked and the only phone number the hospital finds in Peyton’s cell is Nikki’s. Suddenly Nikki is pulled into Peyton’s glittering, fast-paced world as she tries to unravel an unfolding conspiracy.
As Nikki gets closer to the dark truth—and to Peyton’s gorgeous older brother—the only thing she can be sure of is death is a deep, pulsing crimson. Read Online Book Shade Me from Jennifer Brown Full Free

“Nikki’s endearingly heedless with a careless confidence, and her tenacity may earn respect.” (Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books)

Free Download Please Don't Tell by Laura Tims

Debut author Laura Tims writes an intense and utterly gripping contemporary YA tale perfect for fans of Pretty Little Liars. Joy has done everything to protect her twin sister...including murder.
Joy killed Adam Gordon for what he did to her sister, Grace. At least, that’s what she thinks happened. Now Adam can’t hurt anyone ever again, and her sister can be free from the boy who harmed her.
But someone else knows what Joy did, and they’re going to out her as a cold-blooded killer if she doesn’t expose the scandalous secrets bubbling just below the surface of her mundane town. As the demands escalate, and she finds herself falling for Adam’s half brother, Joy must figure out the blackmailer’s identity before everything spirals out of control. Review :

"Joy Morris truly hates Adam Gordon for what he did to her twin sister, Grace. So when Joy ditches Grace to go to Adam's birthday party and blacks out from drinking and Adam ends up dead in the quarry, Joy worries that she may have been the one to kill him. And just when Joy begins to think Adam's death may not be her fault after all, she receives a letter. Someone was at the quarry; someone saw what happened to Adam; someone has proof that Joy is a killer. If Joy doesn't expose a scandalous school secret exactly as the letter instructs, someone will report her to the police. But if she does, will this nightmare really end? Although this debut work addresses classic coming-of-age questions and touches on many important contemporary issues—mental instability, crime, physical differences—the combination is disappointing. The twins' self-reflective tendencies frequently overshadow their actions. This shortcoming is often used to reinforce a weak plot, resulting in a repetitious story line. Strong language is used throughout, and sexual situations are included. VERDICT An additional purchase for fans of crime-driven thrillers."—Maggie Mason Smith, Clemson University R.M. Cooper Library, South Carolina

“Tims weaves a taut YA thriller...Readers of Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why (2007) will find this to be a perfect complement.” (Booklist)

“As real as it gets, not only with its believable dialogue and diverse cast of characters but also its reflection of the world...teens will find this story easily relatable...mature themes are handled tastefully and appropriately...an excellent debut that will leave readers hungry for more.” (Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA))

“The twins’ drama accelerates quickly, taking readers down shocking rabbit holes. High-octane drama that thrills.” (Kirkus)

“Suspenseful debut. A compelling mystery. Tims expertly depicts the awkward uncertainties of teen life and the sometimes-blurry line between right and wrong.” (Publishers Weekly)

“Addresses classic coming-of-age questions and touches on many important contemporary issues” (School Library Journal)

Review :

"Genre-savvy, clever, and full of "Heist Rules" like "If questioned, be evasive" and "Play to your crew's strengths," this twisty tale is funny, fast-paced, and full of surprises. Newcomer Dinan brings in numerous classic heist elements, including sleight-of-hand, code names, flashback sequences (to show what really happened along the way), and elaborate schemes, leading to one revelation after another. Fans of Ocean's 11 or Leverage-properties Max himself holds dear in his personal playbook-will find a great deal to enjoy in Dinan's debut." - Publishers Weekly

"Pop culture references, short chapters, and laugh-out-loud narrative moments make this an additional purchase for reluctant readers or fans of films like The Perfect Score.
" - School Library Journal

"Funny, clever, and playful, this debut is an enjoyable romp that pairs high-stakes cons with a ragtag gang of highschool misfits." - Booklist

"An engaging and fun read. " - SLJ Teen

"Gripping from start to finish . . . with twists that left me shocked."—Victoria Aveyard, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Red Queen

For fans of Gillian Flynn and Pretty Little Liars, The Darkest Corners is a psychological thriller about the lies little girls tell, and the deadly truths those lies become.

Free Online Reading A Study in Charlotte (Charlotte Holmes, #1) by Brittany Cavallaro

The last thing Jamie Watson wants is a rugby scholarship to Sherringford, a Connecticut prep school just an hour away from his estranged father. But that’s not the only complication: Sherringford is also home to Charlotte Holmes, the famous detective’s great-great-great-granddaughter, who has inherited not only Sherlock’s genius but also his volatile temperament. From everything Jamie has heard about Charlotte, it seems safer to admire her from afar.
From the moment they meet, there’s a tense energy between them, and they seem more destined to be rivals than anything else. But when a Sherringford student dies under suspicious circumstances, ripped straight from the most terrifying of the Sherlock Holmes stories, Jamie can no longer afford to keep his distance. Jamie and Charlotte are being framed for murder, and only Charlotte can clear their names. But danger is mounting and nowhere is safe—and the only people they can trust are each other.

A Study in Charlotte is the first in a trilogy. Free Online Reading A Study in Charlotte (Charlotte Holmes, #1) by Brittany Cavallaro Full Free

Review :

"This book is quite gripping. I found myself very disappointed when I had to put it down to do other things. I would think this would be the perfect book to have on a rainy day to read in one sitting, it is that good"----Lizz A. Belle

"Descendants of the legendary Sherlock Holmes (Charlotte) and Watson (Jamie) meet up at a boarding school in CT. A fellow student is murdered and the pair are the main suspects so of course they team up to find the real murderer. I enjoyed the references to the Sherlock Holmes stories and the unraveling of the many layers to the mystery. This book was well written and besides the mystery, there were elements of humor and romance in it, along with interesting characters. High school students and adults would enjoy this read. I received a copy of this book from Amazon Vine in exchange for a honest review."---Melissa A. Palmer
